Kadıköy Belediye Başkanı Selami Öztürk, Şehremaneti binasında manken Tülin Şahin ile düzenlediği tanıtım toplantısında, ''Plastik torbaya hayır, çevre dostu torba kullanıyoruz'' sloganıyla, bugünden itibaren ilçede plastik poşet kullanımı yasağının başladığını bildirerek herkesi, çevre dostu bez, kağıt torba ve file kullanma çağrısında bulundu.

Öztürk, ''Doğada yok olmaları uzun yıllar süren, çevre kirliliğinin en büyük kaynaklarından biri olan plastik poşetler, hem dünyamızı hem de sağlığımızı tehdit ediyor. Buradan herkese sesleniyorum. Çocuklarımızın geleceğini yok etmemek için naylon torba kullanımını bırakılım'' dedi.
